Currently, I’m reading for a practice-based phD within the PEP programme initiated by TU Berlin. My project “SPATIAL DRAWING: Thinking with Materials through Movement” explores an embodied approach to digital drawing, addressing the potential of XR as a design tool with a focus on drawing architectural materials in space.

Within a framework of collaboration between the Excellence Cluster
« Matters of Activity » Image | Space | Material and the Weissensee Kunsthochschule - Department of Textile and Material Design in Berlin, I worked on several projects exploring the idea of AR assisted construction in architecture. A ‘Minimal Machines’ framework was developed, also creating new architectural typologies within an emerging field of sustainable architectural structures produced with filament yarns through a technique of spatial winding.
In particular, this project prioritised the process of making and the relations between body, space and material - placing tacit knowledge at the forefront and treating this as a valuable technology.
